Throwback... to where it all began!

This one is going to be a doozy! Jason and I have spent some time over break cleaning out the house. You know... finding the places in the house where things go to die and taking care of them. Well in one of these such places, we found the pictures he used to keep in his wallet before we got married. I had to capture them and blog so that the kids can see them one day. So without further ado, Jason and Natalie... the high school years!

I think this one was our first dance! I'd place it 1998. I was a sophomore and Jason was a junior. I remember he came to pick me up with a dozen roses!!

Also, a little sister was found! Auntie Erica too!

Century Ride!

Jason is training for for a century ride (100 mile bike race). 100 miles...

He's enjoyed biking these last few years so we upped his game and got him a real bike. He's been putting on about 100 miles a week and is wanting to conquer a century ride.

There is a 90 mile, Race the Lake in August around Winnebago.

The race start and ends in Fond Du Lac. It starts at 5:45am and you need to finish or be done by 1:30. Jason just went 46 miles in 2.5 hours last night, so I am sure he'll finish fine!

To train, he is following an 8 week plan.

So, daddy will be busy after work the rest of the summer. Mostly, not until after dinner!

See how daddy did here.

Eiting Blood

Jason's Uncle Jim (dad's brother) surprised us with a visit the other day. With him, he had some pictures of Jason as a baby. I was thumbing through them and found a hilarious picture that reminded me about a pose Cole used to strike before he was walking. Some may call it his playboy pose!! Anyhow, it appears as though it runs in the family blood line!! Cole is the first three pictures (11months) . Jason is the last (@9 months).

The best we could ever get Coletyn's pose on film!

Just like his daddy!!

A little extra Coletyn from his first birthday shoot.
Jason, circa 1980.
